A single-story coastal house near Mission Bay with a heated saltwater pool, a spa and an outlook over the bay.

The house

The pool runs the length of the lawn with a square spa at one end. It is heated and saltwater, and at dusk it lights turquoise while the sky over the bay turns orange and violet. The outlook is water: a broad blue bay, a long sandy spit and a low headland on the far side, out to the ocean.

Inside is white and vaulted, with exposed white beams, pale wide-plank oak floors and a plaster fireplace with the television above it. Glazed doors open onto a covered terrace with a high wood counter and bar stools facing the lawn, so the living room and the pool work as one space. The kitchen has a marble-look waterfall island with three stools, a stainless range and a double gas oven, which matters when fourteen people are staying and one of them is cooking.

Four bedrooms hold eight beds, including a room with two metal-framed bunks; the bathrooms have oak double vanities and bidets. The street is residential, so quiet hours apply and parties or events need prior approval, you must climb stairs to use the house, and the pool and spa are used at your own risk.

Questions about this home

Is the pool heated?

Yes. It is a heated saltwater pool, and there is a separate spa. Both are used at your own risk under the safety guidelines posted at the house.

Which neighborhood is it in?

The listing places it near Mission Bay, on a quiet residential street a short drive from Mission Bay, Pacific Beach and SeaWorld. We have not confirmed which neighborhood that is, so we are not naming one, and we have not measured any drive times ourselves.

Does it have a San Diego short-term rental license?

San Diego requires a Short-Term Residential Occupancy license with a tier, plus a transient occupancy tax certificate. We do not have those numbers for this home yet, so there is nothing on this page claiming it holds them. They go here when we have them.

Can fourteen people really sleep here?

The listing states four bedrooms, eight beds and a maximum of fourteen guests. We have not seen the room-by-room configuration, so we have not published one.

Can I bring a dog?

Yes, the home is listed as pet friendly. No pet fee and no additional pet terms have been confirmed, so tell us before you book and we will put the terms in writing.
